Photos submitted to FixFoto.ca will never be published or used for content on the FixFoto.ca website or in association with FixFoto.ca advertising in any shape, form, or manner without expressed consent by the copyright holder. E-mail addresses will never be traded, sold, or otherwise distributed to any other people, parties, or businesses. Terms Free Evaluation and Estimate Once a photo is submitted to FixFoto.ca, the photo will be reviewed, and a free evaluation will be returned to you based on a few factors which may include (a) what FixFoto.ca can and cannot do for the photo; (b) the cost of the service(s) required; and (c) the over all quality of the photo, and (d) whether or not the end result would be worth the cost. FixFoto.ca will also return the number of days in which a first proof photo can be provided for your own evaluation. Quality, Service, and Guarantee of Satisfaction FixFoto.ca does business based on success." If a person or business provides a service then satisfaction must be provided with the service. Nobody wants to pay for a service they are not satisfied with, therefore, FixFoto.ca will only accept payment after your photo has been processed, a proof photo has been returned for your own evaluation, and your approval for the proof has been given and it is accepted as the final. Once you accept a proof as final, FixFoto.ca will accept payment of the service, and once payment is received, will send you the unbranded, full resolution photo. Proof Before Pay By allowing you to see the work in a proof photo before paying, you know the work has actually been done, and the quality of work you will be paying for. If, for any reason, you do not approve of the proof photo, you can either suggest changes that you would be happier with, or you can decline the proof photo and choose not to buy the full resolution photo. PayPal, Payment and Billing FixFoto.ca can accept payment directly through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account then FixFoto.ca can send you an e-bill through PayPal's secure, e-billing system which will allow you to pay with any major credit card through the PayPal.com's secure website. FixFoto.ca also accepts money orders and e-checks, but these will cause a delay in the return of your results as the money order or e-check has to clear before your final photos can be sent. Return Policy FixFoto.ca allows you to see the proof photos of the work before you pay for the final. If you are not satisified with the results shown in the proof, you have the option of not purchasing the full resolution photo at that point in time. Once a proof is accepted and payment is provided, the transaction is considered final, and there are no returns or refunds. Please be sure you are satisfied with a proof you are accepting before you approve it and provide payment. There is no return policy for prints. Refusal Policy FixFoto.ca retains the right to refuse work for any reason. Reasons for refusal of work may include, but is not limited to; (a) illegal subject matter; (b) suspected criminal activity; (c) poor quality scan or low quality image file; (d) immoral work which may damage or tarnish the reputation of FixFoto.ca or the subject in the photo. Copyright All images in the FixFoto.ca gallery are subject to copyright by the owners of the photos and FixFoto.ca. Permission has been granted to display the original, unaltered photos and the altered photos as examples in the FixFoto.ca gallery by the owner(s). If you are the legal owner of a photo submitted by someone else to FixFoto.ca and did not provide permission to the submitter for publishing, contact FixFoto.ca immediately with proof of ownership and the photo will be removed. Disclaimer (a) By submitting a photograph to FixFoto.ca you are stating that you are the legal copyright holder of the photograph. If you are not the legal copyright holder of the photograph you are stating you have permission from the legal copyright holder of the photograph to submit the photograph to FixFoto.ca for digital processing. If you are not the legal holder of the copyright of the photograph and you do not have permission of the holder of the copyright of the photograph to submit the photograph to FixFoto.ca for digital processing, yet you submit the photograph to FixFoto.ca, then you are agreeing to assume all legal responsibilities for the submission, and you are agreeing to be liable and responsible for all damages or losses, character or financial, incurred by the legal holder of the copyright of the photograph. All information provided by you will be provided to legal authorities upon request. Please note, FixFoto.ca keeps a record of your IP, all emails and letters, photos, and other information provided by you for a period of no less than one year. (b) By submitting a photograph to FixFoto.ca you are stating that you are using FixFoto.ca's services for a purpose that is legal in nature, and that it is not your intention to misrepresent yourself or someone else in any way which could be considered unlawful. You agree to be legally accountable for any misrepresentation of yourself or any other individual or business in the photograph you submit. All information provided by you will be provided to legal authorities upon request. Please note, FixFoto.ca keeps a record of your IP, all emails and letters, photos, and other information provided by you for a period of no less than one year. (c) Chargebacks hurt small businesses like FixFoto.ca, and with FixFoto.ca's proof before purchase policy there is no need of them. In the event of a chargeback your emails and/or photos, both before and after, will be provided to the required financial institutions as proof of services rendered to settle the chargeback claim. Also, in the event of a chargeback, you will be billed for $60 CAD plus all financial fees (including overdraw and overdraft, if necessary) connected to FixFoto.ca and/or its operator(s)-- and failure to settle this balance will result in the amount being sent to collections. (d) If you are a FixFoto.ca Referrer, you agree to be legally responsible for your methods of advertising and actions as a referrer. You may be using the FixFoto.ca name, but as a FixFoto.ca Referrer, you are independent of FixFoto.ca.
